Relieved there will be a Maya for MP1.3.0. This has been my favourite for years and was my only reservation about upgrading to MP1.3. Now that I've done it, it's only reinforced by belief that this is, for me, by far the best skin ever. Thanks for keeping on developing it.

Hi all,

Attached my mods to MayaHD.

- Drop the xml files into the MayaHD root folder, and the single .png file drop into the media folder.

- Drop MayaSkin.xml into "Program Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal"

- Delete all the "X" icons in the media folder.......I hate seeing those things when an album cover etc can't be found.

- Delete the cache folder so that it is automatically created again without the X's next startup.

A few things about MayaHD 1.3 that I didn't like I have tried to revert back to the old version, most of it cenrtalized around the TV Guide.

I haven't posted pics of all my mods, but you get the idea.

All this a bit of a hack , but it works!

Ian.

Excellent. Thank you so much! With this I can finally use 1.3 final.
There are a few small quirks still (settings menu is missing some files and music listing is doing something weird with the bottom line) but I can easily live with those..

Thanks again!

which branch do you use from git hub. you need the MP 1.3.0 branch not the Maya HD branch, please test and give me a feedback.

EDIT: just took now the 1.3.0 brand

    Hello gents,

when trying to install the MayaHD 1.1.0.0_MP 1.3.mpe1 for my MP1.3 I get an error because of the mismatch of the required skinnumber:

    Required: 1.3.0.1
    Version in package: 1.3.0.0

    Is there a workaround?

    Thanks for your support

    Hello all,

    I tried this:

open the reference.xml in the Maya file-package with an editor and
change version number from 1.3.0.0 to 1.3.0.1

with this file of the mpe1 package:
    {7c144cf5-04e7-4522-96ab-1b6f0ce3f6c8}-references.xml

This was the only one I found. The result was the same: Incompatibel skin message when trying to install the skin the first time and a interrupture of the installation process.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks a lot!

Could you install the skin and before starting you change the number in the reference.xml ? I think there's a problem by changing something in the files because the number before ( {7c144...} is a checksume.

Sorry the it doesn't even let me install me the skin at all so that I could change the references.xml later.
