Well it seems that finally LAV have recently released (this year, 2016) a version with support for MVC!
So how is it now looking for native 3D Bluray Support in MP?

LAV support H264/MVC from 67.54, released a few days ago however that may well be a test build! Whatever, it would be good to know that someone is at least taking a look at it in preparation for a full release version and what it could do. i.e. 3D.

So it needed to write a new video renderer or use madVR

since ver. 0.68 LAV filter supports MVC 3D in LAV splitter and LAV video. Unfortunately 3D decoding requieres madVR. Nevertheless i hope, that it will be possible to add this great feature to MediaPortal. I've made some quick tests with MPC-HC and it seems to work fine.
