Are there plans for creating a skin file for the My Music Video Plugin? Currently it doesn't show up properly.

I will post a screen shot when i get home.

please do, along with a link to the latest release if it isn't a part of the plugins included with mp by default. If i have an xml file with the skin, it worked at one point, but the plugin may have been updated since. I've skinned about 20 plugins so far, but it's tough to keep up with new versions of each.

So i took another look at it when i got home and noticed that the skin included with mce 1280x720 looks ok, but i can't click any of the buttons. I an unable to navigate at all. I can only hit esc to get back to the main menu.

Are you using an svn version of mp? I jumped onto my htpc to take a look and its working ok. There hasn't been a new version released since i last skinned it.
You are talking about this plugin, right?

Hmm... maybe I am completely crazy. I will take a look again tonight on my main htpc. The one I checked before was my test machine, which probably has something wrong with it.

no problem, my test machine is due for a blowout/re-install too so i understand. I can't get some plugins working on it, probably because i've bounced from full releases of mp to svn versions and back several times.

I went back to my main HTPC and installed the latest version of the skin and this is the screen i see for MyMusicVideos.

I don't know if this makes a difference, but I have changed the menu structure via the home plugin.

I also have the latest version of the MyMusicVideos plugin installed.

Ok, i recognize that error...we went over it on page 16 of the thread:

Harley saw that i was having a problem and here was his response:
"Hi Boilermaker,

this problem appears with old files of the musicvideo plugin.

Use the ones of latest svn in B2.

Then it works ok !

From what i remember, the newest/stable version of the plugin is now in the svn. Read page 6 of the plugin's thread. Also this is post 56 from the plugin author:

The new version might be release with the next stable release."

I took a look thru my plugins/windows folder and there is no dll for mymusicvideo, looks like it's integrated into mp differently in the svn versions. When you download the plugin, does the skin file that comes with it work?

Thanks for all the great info! The skin file that comes with the plugin works for 4:3 skins, but not yours. I will just edit the skin file that came with it to work with yours.

Also, I have a 16:9 version of the skin file for the plugin I wrote (Netflix Manager) if you want to include it in your skin.

Maybe because of include files...I should really include an xml file that works with the version of the plugin that you can download, not the svn version. The download version is the version for mp .2.0.4, and not everybody uses the svn. If you want to wait til the weekend, i'll revert back to .2.0.4 and do the skinning. if you reskin it yourself and don't mind sending me the file, i don't mind being lazy. Either way thanks, i probably should have done it this way from the start.
