MCE IR Blaster (1 Viewer)

I have a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 TV tuner card. This card has two OTA tuners that can be configured for either NTSC or ATSC. It also has an S-video input. I would like to set this up on MediaPortal with one tuner on NTSC, the other on ATSC, and my Dish Network connected to the S-video. The IR blaster that came with my Hauppauge card will change the channels on the Dish Network receiver. This is an MCE IR blaster. Will MediaPortal be able to work with my MCE IR blaster? I know that SageTV and BeyondTV do not work with MCE IR blasters.
