hey guys, we have a Media Center Edition Keyboard/Remote...along with a reciever. ive flicked through the MCE Keyboard on XP Home threads, and im still a bit confused.

the remote is a black small thing 'microsoft' written on top and the front the IR recievers, sitting on top of the case. not sure if thats the right one, but its what we got, along with the keyboard and a silver remote.

The Remote is working good, but we never bothered about the keyboard, until now. No matter what i do, i cant even get the lights to come on...(on the keyboard itself). ive tried the instructions on the back, and in Device Manager, it shows up as working ok.

Something about this Rollup driver, is this the one i need to do, or the zipped file? "eHomeRollupDrivers.zip"??? which one do i need to do, im confused and dont wanna screw the whole thing up.

If it is the drivers from microsoft, is there a way to get these without validation?

and lastly, if i install the drivers, (whichever one it is), restart, the keyboard should work?

Media PC: XP Professional w/ Service Pack 2.

Paranoid, I tried all steps of the your how to, but it don't works.

If I see eHome keyboard properties, in controllers, I can see the files kbdclass.sys and kbdhid.sys instead of hidir.sys and irbus.sys.

I find this files in the cab, but they do not exist.

    Can you help me?

Thanks and sorry for my little english.
