Hi,
I have been reading a lot of threads about people having problems with MCE Remote, IMON and Mediaportal, but so far I haven't been able to find a soloution to my problems: Only up/down, left/right and Ok button works inside MediaPortal. If I start windows mediacenter all buttons on the remote works fine, so I don't think there is anything wrong with my remote/vfd software (IMON). I'm using the latest IMON software, 7.01.0204. If anybody have a suggestion, that would be great.

Isn't there anybody that have reported the same problem as I have, that could share their setup with me,
I read in some threads that several of you have managed to get this to work?

As I said before, I have been searching the forum and read all the treads about this problem, but I'm not able to find a soloution that will make my remote work properly inside MediaPortal.

I think it would be a defeat if I had to disable the built-in IR receiver/display, and replace that with microsoft's own IR-receiver.

I've just added iMon support to IR Server Suite. It's an IR application like Girder but made for MediaPortal.

It's just gone in so it's not perfect yet, but worth a look ...

Could you please tell me how to install it, should I remove the IMON application before installing IR Server Suite and what about the other two zip-files (MP Control Plugin Update and IMON Update)?

i too am having trouble with my imon lcd and imon pad, it seems to only work as a mouse in mediaportal, i cannot get it to work as arrow buttons even if i press that keyboard button above the up on the mouse hope this gets resolved soon

I have stopped trying to use the IMON receiver and disconnected it from my motherboard..

It was also interferring with my remote for the home cinema set, when I turn up the volume or something the display goes heywire, and the MCE remote stops responding.

Now I have bought a Microsoft IR receiver on ebay and everything works fine. (except that Windows Media Center starts when I press the green button, dispite the fact I have turned off all MCE services)

Hi,

I have installed IR Server Suite, but I still cannot get iMON to work with MediaPortal. Some buttons do work, but I cannot use search, play, stop etc... Also, the button shortcuts, My Movie, My TV etc do not work.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Hi,

i also have Problems to get every button to work with the built in receiver. At least now i got the number buttons working with the new CybrDisplay Plugin, but like stuart im still missing all of the other buttons...

I hope someone knows how to work this out.
