I just bought a new HTPC and just got it all installed. Things are working pretty well except for the remote. I can only get the arrow keys to work. I've enabled the remote in the configuration program, and reenabled it but no luck. It worked flawless on my old HTPC running Win XP MCE and it works perfectly in Vista MCE but not with MP

Anyone out there with a solution?

Yup here it is:
install Microsoft Rollup to get MCE keyboard and Remote support http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

I think part of the problem is Vista MCE keeps control of the remote.

The only way i found of getting remote to work 100% was to disable the mce part of vista and then install mptray
