I want to set up the Play button so that, in playback, it shows a status bar like the Pause button (except without pausing it). It would also be fine if it showed a status bar like in the More or I button. However, the More button also shows another menu when you press it the second time that I DO NOT want. I just want to be able to see the status of the program without pausing it. thanks.

Do not know of way to do your request, but if using i button, press back button to exit, otherwise you cycle through menu's. this applies to quite a few functions from the remote.
