Hi All

I have the following annoying problem. After a restart of my machine everything is working, then after standby (Not consistent but sometimes) my remote stops working. However the power button still works, so it kind of acts the same way as, if you have forgot to click it in the settings (but i have). Normally i can fix it by restarting the machine.

I just tried something diffrent. Again it was not working, and then i went into settings, did not change anything, but chose save, and now it works again :)

Does anybody have any idea, what could be causing this. I'm happy to provide logs, but really do not know which logs, and what to look for. Any help will be much appreciated.

br
Michael

NB: Mediaportal rocks, apart from this my system works perfect, i can even change between analog and digital and back again (Now with RC3)

Yes I have the same issue.
Almost every time when I install a new MP version, the error re-occurs.
This is a active window issue.
When you start mp en press guide button, it works, but then want to navigate in the guide, it doesn't.
If you have a keyboard and press <alt>+<tab> and select mp, you can navigate.

What do i do next.
-reinstall mptray
-Set settings like always on top etc in mediaportal config.

Reboot and now it works always.

Good luck.
If you can't succeed I can post relevant settings this afternoon.

MPTrayMOD will usually keep focus, without enabling always on top, MPTray itself not good at this and has not been for a long time, hence the modded version.

That can be caused by the driver files info not being stored correctly in the registry, Uninstall ehome receiver in Device manager, when done remove the receiver usb plug, now reboot, when xp fully loaded reinsert usb plug and receiver should now install correctly.

Had this happen a couple of times with xp, why have no idea.
