MCE remote trouble (1 Viewer)

I have the MCE 2005 remote wich doesent have the four coulored buttons.

I want to be able to use the coulored button functions. Does anyone have an idea on how to do this. Maybe i could change vaules of Recorded TV, Guide, Live TV and DVD Menu somehow.

Hi,

1. Make sure you're at least using 0.2.0.0 RC4
2. Start setup
3. Click on "Remote"
4. Choose "Microsoft MCE" tab
5. Click on the "Mapping" button
6. knock yourself out...if you screw up, just click "defaults" ;-)

Please understand that buttons which currently have no mapping assigned to them are handled outside of MP by the OS. This goes for the navigation buttons (up/down/left/right/ok/back) and the numerical buttons (0-9 etc.). While you can map these buttons to an action in MP, it won't stop the OS from interpreting the key press as well.

So that doesn't leave that much buttons to change without loosing functionality.

OK. When i'm in My Movies and My Music and are browsing files i would like too get the same action then i press "i" (more info button) as i get the pressen the right mouse button.

Edit: I have now managed to get "Context menu" on music files. Now it's just movie files left . Any ideas?
