mce remote volume problem (1 Viewer)

Finally swtiched from mce to mediaportal 2 last night, have to just keep the rest of the family from throwing it out the window


anyway my current biggest problem is volume

if i turn the volume up or down the system volume and mediaportal volume are both lowered and raised,

this is actually causing huge problems as now mp vol at 100 could be very low (system at 30) and mp volume at 60 can be deafening (system at 100), so its a gamble starting live tv

so i need a way to lock mp at 100% volume and just use the remote to control system volume

okay managed to sort it out

i downloaded a program called 3RVX_2.5 and with it you can set any keyboard button to increase and decrese the volume, it even has a very nice volume osd that works great with mediaportal

i then used AdvancedMCERemoteMapper to map the volume buttons to those buttons

Hi, Thanks for the solution... but, is there anything simpler? I too just installed Win10 before Dec 31th limit and found this very annoying volume issue...
