I just upgraded to Media Portal v1 and am having a few issues. I love the software, but I wasn't expecting to have to reconfigure my settings. 
The only problem I can't seem to resolve is the skin. I use Media Portal on my 27inch flat screen so I've been trying to use 16:9 or 16:10 skins (is this wrong?). With Media Portal 1, I've had issues trying to load some of the skins (spin safe, spin safe revolve and a few others). I love the skins, but when they actually load they are SO slow. Not sure if the issue is with skins, MPv1, or my setup. Using XP. Anyone else have issues or suggestions on how to speed it up (and make it more stable)?
