So i have been using MP for a few months with a Dual Digital HD tuners.
However in this time i've been unable to get S-Video or Analog Tuners working.
(TVServer0.3 detects my Hybrid cards, but doesn't work at with it)
So i'm trying to manually hack a config that will allow me to view Cable/Foxtel/Svideo along side my Dual Digital Tuners...
So far this is what i know: This is my card
http://digitalnow.com.au/product_pages/DNTVDualS2.html
Which is actually a rebadged KWorld PCI-E (PE-310)
http://www.kworld.com.tw/en/index_PCI-E.htm
The card uses a Philips BDA 7162 Digital and Philips BDA 7162 Analog chipset.
Here is the CaptureCard Definition that is used:
<capturecard commercialname="Philips SAA7162 Hybrid Tuner0" capturename="7162 BDA Digital Capture0" devid="ven_1131&dev_7162&subsys_753117de&rev_01">

<capturecard commercialname="Philips SAA7162 Hybrid Tuner1" capturename="7162 BDA Digital Capture1" devid="ven_1131&dev_7162&subsys_753117de&rev_01">

As you can see unlike TVServer which detects 2 BDA Digital, and 2 BDA Analog..
(Where does TVserver use it's definitions from?) MP is only finding the two Digital Cards above. (I need analog S-Video)
Is there anyway i can hack together a definition that adds an analog capture..
(doing a search of the capturedefinitions.xml, i can find some BDA Analog devices)
This for example is a Hybrid card from another maker that's using the same chipset.. (Can i change the names and keep the Analog BDA settings?)

Is it possible to manully hack something together to get a Analog detected?
Iv'e tried various things without any luck.
Thanks for any help on the subject
