So i have been using MP for a few months with a Dual Digital HD tuners. However in this time i've been unable to get S-Video or Analog Tuners working. (TVServer0.3 detects my Hybrid cards, but doesn't work at with it) So i'm trying to manually hack a config that will allow me to view Cable/Foxtel/Svideo along side my Dual Digital Tuners... So far this is what i know: This is my card http://digitalnow.com.au/product_pages/DNTVDualS2.html Which is actually a rebadged KWorld PCI-E (PE-310) http://www.kworld.com.tw/en/index_PCI-E.htm The card uses a Philips BDA 7162 Digital and Philips BDA 7162 Analog chipset. Here is the CaptureCard Definition that is used: <capturecard commercialname="Philips SAA7162 Hybrid Tuner0" capturename="7162 BDA Digital Capture0" devid="ven_1131&dev_7162&subsys_753117de&rev_01"> <capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"/> <tv> <interface cat="capture" video="2" audio="3" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="5"/> <filters> <filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBT Network Provider" checkdevice="false"/> <filter cat="tunerdevice" name="7162 BDA DVBT Tuner0" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="capture" name="7162 BDA Digital Capture0" checkdevice="true"/> </filters> <connections> <connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="tunerdevice" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="0"/> </connections> </tv> </capturecard> <capturecard commercialname="Philips SAA7162 Hybrid Tuner1" capturename="7162 BDA Digital Capture1" devid="ven_1131&dev_7162&subsys_753117de&rev_01"> <capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"/> <tv> <interface cat="capture" video="2" audio="3" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="5"/> <filters> <filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBT Network Provider" checkdevice="false"/> <filter cat="tunerdevice" name="7162 BDA DVBT Tuner1" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="capture" name="7162 BDA Digital Capture1" checkdevice="true"/> </filters> <connections> <connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="tunerdevice" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="0"/> </connections> </tv> </capturecard> As you can see unlike TVServer which detects 2 BDA Digital, and 2 BDA Analog.. (Where does TVserver use it's definitions from?) MP is only finding the two Digital Cards above. (I need analog S-Video) Is there anyway i can hack together a definition that adds an analog capture.. (doing a search of the capturedefinitions.xml, i can find some BDA Analog devices) This for example is a Hybrid card from another maker that's using the same chipset.. (Can i change the names and keep the Analog BDA settings?) <capturecard commercialname="Pinnacle PCTV 3010iX (Analogue)" capturename="Pinnacle PCTV 310i BDA Analog Capture" devid="ven_1131&dev_7162&subsys_010011bd&rev_00"> <capabilities tv="true" radio="true" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="false"/> <tv> <interface cat="mux" video="" audio="" mpeg2="0"/> <filters> <filter cat="tvtuner" name="Pinnacle PCTV 3010iX BDA Analog TV Tuner" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="tvaudio" name="Pinnacle PCTV 3010iX BDA Analog TV Audio" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="crossbar" name="Pinnacle PCTV 3010iX BDA Analog Xbar" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="capture" name="Pinnacle PCTV 3010iX BDA Analog Capture" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="videncoder" name="%videoencoder%" checkdevice="false"/> <filter cat="audencoder" name="%audioencoder%" checkdevice="false"/> <filter cat="mux" name="%mpegmux%" checkdevice="false"/> </filters> <connections> <connection sourcefilter="tvtuner" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="crossbar" sinkpin="%tvtuner%"/> <connection sourcefilter="tvtuner" sourcepin="1" sinkfilter="tvaudio" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="tvaudio" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="crossbar" sinkpin="%audiotuner%"/> <connection sourcefilter="crossbar" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="crossbar" sourcepin="1" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="1"/> <connection sourcefilter="capture" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="videncoder" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="capture" sourcepin="2" sinkfilter="audencoder" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="videncoder" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="mux" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="audencoder" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="mux" sinkpin="1"/> </connections> </tv> </capturecard> Is it possible to manully hack something together to get a Analog detected? Iv'e tried various things without any luck. Thanks for any help on the subject
