Hi everyone!
I tried repeatedly to set Media Portal as the windows shell (to make the boot proccess faster and to prevent Windows from asking me what I want to do with the CD/DVD I inserted) every time I tried to change the key in the registry I got a warning message regarding the DirectX.
Today I finally solved it
You just open the "RegEdit" and go to the registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Shell
and set it's value to:
"c:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MediaPortal.exe" ,svchost.exe
also change the "LogonType" value to zero.
Thank you all for your hard work,
Yuval Khalifa
