Media portal crashing after a video finishes. (1 Viewer)

Hi I am currently running Media portal 1, I have been running music videos or anytime of video and when it completes and is about to return to the skin page it crashes. This is happening everytime.

I am running Aeon Wide.

Anyone else experienced this.

Previously they never happened when running videos.

I am going to perform some more tests later this evening, ie connected and not connect to my LCD, diff skins etc, and if that doesnt work, I guess Ill contemplate reinstallation ....

I am experiencing the same problem but not every time. Perhaps every 3 or 4 times a video stops. It occurs at the end of a video or just pressing stop in the middle. It has always done this since I started using MP about a month ago starting with RC2. I tried a couple of SVN versions since but same problem. Didn't install the last SVN due to reported problems with it.

I was about to post a similar email to yours. I'm using the Xface skin, but the skin doesn't make any difference. For me it is usually related to watching DVD videos, which I have set up to use ffdshow as video decoder. I haven't yet tested without ffdshow, but I don't think it is the problem.

I'm quite new here and I'm not sure what the next step is. I have enabled the Watchdog process which compiles a list of logs etc and puts a rar file on the desktop. Should I attach this file for someone to look at?

Well Im not new here and havent experienced this before, I only really started using this new RC as I have finally sorted out my apartment for the media software. I had it setup before in another apartment with an older version and it was perfect.

So it must be something with the new version and maybe something else I have configured possibly. I am going to give it some testing later this evening if I have the time. Im currently trying to finish off decorating .

Ill let you what I find out.
