Umm yeah in case you haven't noticed im not a very technical guy. I used to run Media Portal on XP and it worked fine, however i installed Vista and now the client or any of the configuration applications aren't working. As soon as i open the Media Portal client or configuration it closes and reads a error message saying 'Media portal crashed unexpectedly'. I've re installed it 3 times and not too sure what to do. :(

    It;s usually a .net error.

When you do a windows update, besides all the language ones, install everything else you can see, keep doing this until all updates are installed.

    Regards

Hi, thanks for your reply, however this didn't help. I applied every update possible until there were no more and updated my .net framework and still coming up with the same error.
