Media Portal DVD Playback with TightVNC (1 Viewer)

I am currently working on a project where I would like to have media portal as the software controlling music and video playback.

Ultimately I want to use media portal in conjunction with tightvnc to play dvd video on one computer, and control it from another.

The control works slow..yet a bit jerky. My big issue is the fact that the video image is not there on the control computer screen...the image is replaced by a blank/black screen.

Has anyone overcome this problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The way each program works will not allow VNC to view the video. Even if possible, VNC would not be able to update the screen fast enough to make it viewable.

Providing everything is switched to VMR9 renderless, you will be able to see the video fine. The way VNC works though will not allow you to view the video smoothly.
