Media portal minimizes automatically if using another screen (1 Viewer)

Every time i use media portal 1.0, it minizies on it's own accord when using other application. I have my htpc shared via 2 screens, 1 screen used for normal work etc, other for video playback. It's starts etc fine, but, when it's playing a video file, or just idle, if i use my mouse and click anywhere on my work screen, mediaportal just minimizes on it's own accord, I don't know what is wrong, directshow settings are set to vmr9 renderless, as it solved my tearing issues, very smooth 24p via my tv now, any ideas? Same happens when always on top is selected, though, if launched and used on my normal monitor, everything is fine, i can click anywhere whilst a movie is running, and it does not minimise on it's own. I did try to search, but, did not come up with anything regarding my problem.

Hi, disabling exclusive mode worked perfectly, thanks you for the quick fix! But, i still get stutter every few seconds, very minor, but noticable, it was as smooth as silk when exclusive was enabled, but as above, i had the minimize problems when using my main work screen. Is there a workaround for me being able to use exclusive mode, without having any minimize problems? I would really like my smooth picture, without this minimize problem, the same occurs with even if i manually resize the screen to full screen. Thanks

Only workaround is to use EVR instead (that wont require, or even support exclusive mode). Make sure that AERO is enabled in Windows itself.

Hi, thanks for the reponse, I tried evr, i get the same judder/stutter, I notice it on kung fu panda, when the title appears, on the panning shot, you see stutter, is there anything i can check deeper to fix this, this is all i need for perfect smooth playback, without the minimise problem. thanks, ill havea look if there is anything else i can do
