I have this problem as well. It happens while watching DVDs, Videos, live TV and recorded TV. Is it really something to do with my wireless keyboard? Its really irritating to watch anything at the moment. I'd love to solve this one asap.

I'm using TV Server 14957 and the client svn 15025. I'll get some logs together when I get a chance but I'm not sure they would helpful.

I seem to have the same problem, but it only seems to happen when I have paused or even looked at the timeline.
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/timeshifting_problem-t21522.html.

I have reinstalled mce2005 and mp, and I still have the problem.

I am using a Tevion wireless kb and mouse, hauppage wintv nova PCI DVB, with the hauppage remote.
I will try fitting a wired set and see if it works ok.

I left it on the main menu overnight and by the morning the focus had made its way from the TV button down to the plugins button. It seems as though the action triggered by the down arrow is being executed somehow - this is consistent with whats happening when watching tv.

I've unplugged the wireless keyboard now. I'll see how that goes.

I watched a whole movie last night, paused it frequently, no skips!
Excellent, I don't use the keyboard and mouse much anyway, it must be something to do with the battery saver power down on the keyboard.
I would like to know if there is a workaround though.

Any help would be awesome.

I also am having this problem.
It seems to only happen when i have skipped Forward or Backward, when i have done this the unwanted skipping seems to go in the same blocks in the same direction.

I am unsure what logs you are after so i will incude the all:

Let me know if there is anything that i can do to help some one work this out.

Thanks in advance.

Hi all from Italy,

I have the same problem me too. During the playback of movie 1,2 or maximum 3 times the movie skip forward of some minutes. I use wireless and mouse keyboard and the internal player of MP.

Last time i put the mouse very far from receveir and i have seen the whole movie without skip. I am not sure that is the way to resolve the problem, i will say much more after i will see more whole movie.

bye bye and forget me for my bad english

The problem is the wireless keyboard, with an optical mouse, it powers down at some point, and sends a signal that triggers the jump.
I am now using a wireless mouse/keyboard with a rechargeable mouse (which sits in the charger when not in use) and it seems to work OK.

I have an update for my message above.

I am not using a wireless keyboard/mouse, infact this error happens even if no keyboard/mouse is connected.

it can skip up to 15 time during one 45min show, normaly the only way to stop it is if it skips forward or back 15sec/30sec/1min/3min etc then i need to skip in the opposite direction stright after this will normally stop skips for the rest of the show i am watching.

However if i do remove the usb ir control it will go instantly..

Hope you can see this in my logs above.

TNX

I have noticed that it is the last button pressed that is normaly repeated. Could be volume/aspect or even the menu button.
This problem happens on multible systems, and i got to thinking that it might be the way that we have mapped the control. The problem will stop when the control is unplugged.

Anyone have any ideas?
