media portal unreadable (1 Viewer)

I have installed media portal for the second time , en even windows xp.
But its still unreadable. Is i change screen resolution some part are chaning into readable letters.
but some dont.

What can i do about it?

Sounds much like your graphics card needs upgrading.

I suggest you post your hardware specs. We have a few clever moderators/users that will be able to tell you if you meet the requirements.

I have learnt (by reading our moderator's answers), that even if dxdiag.exe tells you that you are using DX9, it does not really mean your graphics card supports it.

I'd have to agree -- I had a 9600xt , a DX9 card, which with certain skins would scramble test and graphics. I had to stick with those more basic skins until I upgraded.

Please take a minute to fill in your system spec...

Try SimpleMP skin, usually works for low end graphics cards (remember time moves on hardware wise, very quickly).

its a onboard video card, connected with s-video to my tv
running on 800 x 600 resolution

S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR , i have tryed the simpe skin, but i have the same problem again..

I think that this is the problem - I would be very surprised if this video card supported DirectX 9?

thanks for the answers , i have have bought a new videocard, and the problem is gone !!
