but why cant i see the flac logo in the OSD when playing videos that have flac muxed ?
dts and dolby digital works like a charm...

Have like 200+ mkvs with flac muxed none of these seem to get the logo showing

ok here is a sample with flac muxed .
have checked the file with the mediainfo app, it reports the audiotrack as A_FLAC.
Should work in mediaportal right?

I actually found the problem...

in the skin file videoosd.xml:

<visible>string.contains(#Play.Current.VideoCodec, FLAC)+Control.IsVisible(989)</visible>

should actually be:

<visible>string.contains(#Play.Current.AudioCodec, FLAC)+Control.IsVisible(989)</visible>

i actually fixed something myself thistime

btw the PCM logo being used by mediaportal is actually the company logo of the Pump manufacturer
"PCM Pumps" (PCM, pump manufacturer : progressing cavity, peristaltic and dosing pumps, pumping equipment and solutions

I guess its not for diplaying the media has some kind of Pump from PCM , right?

Hello ZealotSix,

Thank you for your great work. I would like to request the X.264 logo, if you don't mind dedicating some time in making one. I say this since H.264 is the codec used by untouched Blue Ray and X.264 is the codec used by re-compressed .mkv mostly. I would also like to point out that you have 2 logos for actually the same codec which is H.264/MPEG-4_AVC but you dont have one for VC-1.

HD itself should not be used as we have "720p.png", "1080i.png" and "1080p.png"...
