I've built the above mediaPC during the last days. I didn't install the remote control and the VFD to keep things simple.

Unfortunately MP isn't working right up to now. It starts (in window-mode) with about 7% max. CPU load. About 55s later the CPU load increases to 100%, without user action, just displaying MP's GUI (gui.gif). This occurs with TV-mode active and with TV-mode switched off too. With CPU load at 100% TV picture quality detoriates (blurred and stuttering).

I zipped the mediaportal directory with subdirs, installed the actual SVN 'MediaPortal-svn--03-09-2007--20-01-Rev13321.exe', but the symptoms didn't change. So I first deleted and then restored the Mediaportal directory with the zip-file, as recommended in https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/windowsxp_und_mediaportal_ohne_frust-t16652.html.

Any suggestions how to go on?

(in my MP Setup/General/Skin the skin "Blue Two 0.2.2.0" is highlighted, when I exit setup, but in MP I see the skin "Blue Two wide 0.2.2.0" (has no MP logo); does this matter? How you can choose a skin?)

In Mediaportal-Setup/Plugins/Process Plugins the Plugin "TV Movie Clickfinder" was and is disabled.

Ok, just checking cause that is a plugin that starts working after some seconds after MP has started. Must be something else then...

I'm having the same problem it was working fine until I installed StreamedMP and a touch screen program for MP.
