Hi everybody,
I 've been using this great software for a couple of years now and after started using it I was convinced that it was worth building an HTPC just for that program. Thank you all developers and community.
But now to my issue. Mediaportal is freezing every 1-2 minutes. I mean that everything stops responding and I have to alt-ctrl-del and use task manager to stop it and start it again.BUT that is not happening if you watch a media fullscreen (video or tv) (so I can use it!!). I 'm running 1.0.2 on a clean installed Vista system since May and I 've been facing this problem since then. I also noticed that when scrolling text horizontally the movement is jerky. Like moving left 20 pixels and jumbing back 5. I think that those 2 are some how related. At the begining I thought it was skin related with StreamedMP I was using at the begining so I tried XFace and now Blue3Wide but to no good.
I attach the logs I just gathered after a freeze like that. In the Mediaportal log I noticed some errors about directx. I have installed latest DX redist (of course also nvidia driver) but didn't help.
It seems very strange, I haven't read anything like that in the forum (witch I read almost everyday). Am I the only one with such a problem?? Please advise.. something to test or do??. I 'm here for any questions or details about my system.
Thanks a lot in advance.:D
