I've tracked the freezing on channel change problem down to a broken solder joint on the terrestrial aeriel feed giving an intermittent signal on two DVB-T multiplexes. The problem was masked by: 1) Combining DVB-T and DVB-S channels in the MP TV-Server so that quite often the terrestrial channel was not selected. 2) Combining channels as above seems to prevent Mediaportal 1.0 from backing out of a connection to a tuned but unavailable DVB-T channel. I tracked the problem down by retuning all cards but not combining DVB-T and DVB-S channels. The dodgy channels then gave me the "do you want to go back to the previous channel" message and no freezing. Roll on MP 1.0.1 - things are looking very promising. Peter
