there seems to be a big showstopper in this beta regarding HD-TV. Therefore the news was disabled by a teammember until its fixed and a new working version is created.

A last minute change broke watching HDTV Channels.

UPDATE 2009-08-30

The inital Beta 1 release sadly contained one showstopper bug. Because of this we were forced to create a new BETA 1 release.
Those of you who installed the initial release will have to uninstall it and then reinstall the new version linked in the first post.

why don't you just place the inital Beta 1 release and call it beta 1.1.0 no HD version ?
The current release is so buggy and chrashy , i simply be perfectly happy with the "faulty" beta version..

Myabe just add him here? Browse MediaPortal Files on SourceForge.net

i mean version 1.0.2.0 .... (for ex. full screen flash hanging now, so can't even startup once in a while)

so beta 1.1.0 no HD version very welcome...
