Mediaportal 1.1.2 config and Windows 7 SP1 (1 Viewer)

I got this error message when i tried to open Mediaportal configuration.

"Your platform is not supported by MediaPortal Team because its lacks critical hotfixes!
Please check our Wiki's requirements page."

This can be a problem when MS start roll-out SP1 next week? (22 february, if im not wrong)

I've got mepo setup on win 7 and it works perfectly.

Yeah, Win 7 without sp1 everything works well, Win 7 with Service Pack 1 RTM (from technet), then you got this error msg, and everything works well..

Windows 7 enterprise, version 6.1.7601.17514

My Windows 7 professional with all important updates works fine.. but it is not SP1 though, System info says Version 6.1.7600.16385.

I checked the installed updates and there were two Hotfixes installed: KB23000535 and KB2120976, both installed February 5, 2011. Maybe this are the 'hotfixes' you need. Run Windows update to find and install these, maybe it helps.

Would it be possible (is there a plan) to do a 1.1.3 release based on a fix for this, seeing as even a beta of 1.2 is a month away?

I know the team is aware that SP1 is a dealbreaker ATM, and that they are working on this. I think a fix is very close, maybe this week<-- this is not a promise

Mediaportal hotfix 1.1.3 has been released to solve this problem...

BUT be aware that all your settings and plugins are LOST when you do so!!! I just installed 1.1.3 and sure I selected to UPDATE the current installation.. but low and behold all the plugins and skins I downloaded the last few months are now gone!.. I do not call this a HOTFIX..

How do you say that.. Operation successfull, but patient died!!...

I do not know how it is with my carefully assembled backdrops and thumbnails for my movies and music, but I fear the worst (not checked yet.. not able to, because the plugins are gone!!)

I see that the files are available in a backup, but this doesnt help me much, becase when copying them to the folder, doesnt mean they are properly attached to the new database...

Heavily frustrated I am..
