Hello The Windows application and system event logs are always the first place to look when any program crashes. In this case, the application event log shows: [collapse] "5.3.2017. 10:16:32";".NET Runtime";"(0)";"Error";"Application: MediaPortal.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: System.AccessViolationException at MediaPortal.GUI.Library.PluginManager.CheckExternalPlayersCompatibility() at MediaPortalApp.InitializeDeviceObjects() at MediaPortal.D3D.InitializeDevice() at MediaPortal.D3D.Init() at MediaPortalApp.Main(System.String[]) ";"1026" "5.3.2017. 10:16:32";"Application Error";"Application Crashing Events";"Error";"Faulting application name: MediaPortal.exe, version: 1.15.0.0, time stamp: 0x576f98ed Faulting module name: clrjit.dll, version: 4.6.1086.0, time stamp: 0x57e32800 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0000be0b Faulting process id: 0xa28 Faulting application start time: 0x01d29591124e340e Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MediaPortal.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\clrjit.dll Report Id: 6bce7a68-0184-11e7-86a2-00181affffff";"1000"[/collapse] Since the Watchdog is able to start MP successfully and the above message refers to "PluginManager", to me it seems likely that the problem is caused by one of your plugins. So, please disable all your plugins, then use a process of elimination (re-enable them one by one) to figure out which one is causing the problem. P.S. According to the system event log the system is not being shut down properly every day: "5.3.2017. 10:13:52";"EventLog";"(0)";"Error";"The previous system shutdown at 22:16:40 on ‎4.‎3.‎2017. was unexpected.";"2147489656" This can cause file corruption, which in turn can cause MP to stop working. I recommend to always shut down and/or reboot the system properly.
