1.2.2 is the first MediaPortal release which was developed using GIT. The learning curve is very steep, but the benefits are great!

thats great news, my only question , is there mdapi support after install?

i'm stuck on 1.2 because i need mdapi to let both my tuners get keys from 1 card.

    Great work. :)

Could you give us some more information about the following entry in the changelog?
"Update tuning details and EPG grabbers for 1.2.2"

Are the WebEPG grabbers changed or DVB? And what has been changed?

Very often, channels change frequencies, so that a scan will not find them. Therefore, we have to update the files that tell MP what frequencies to look at for your region.

This change is only made when we know there is a problem with the current frequencies, so it is safe!

Oh. I didn't ask because of safety issues. I asked because I hoped that the issue of this thread could be solved. It's some major problem for all german WebEPG users.

Wish you all some nice xmas. :)
