Today, I just went through the upgrade to MP2 from 1.15. In 1.XX, I followed these directions to get the schedule download automatically. Basically, you open TV Configuration, go to Plug-ins, Make sure that PowerScheduler is enabled, and then setup the EPG section. On the EPG tab, there is an entry "Run Command Before Internal Handlers are Triggers" with a button to select a file. Use that button and find your batch file that runs MC2XML. Once you have that setup, the batch file will run every day at the time you specify and automatically download the EPG from the EPG service that you configured MC2XML to use - Schedules Direct. I was using MC2XML with the Microsoft service for a while; however, that proved to be too unreliable for me, so I switched to Schedules Direct. With the Microsoft Service, I also got two weeks worth of data. However, with Schedules Direct, I only get one week of data. AFAIK, there is no means to get more than one week of data from Schedules Direct - I have looked, and I have not found a way to do so. There may be a way to do so now, but I have not checked in about a year or so. I have gotten used to it. I did check to see if the guide in MP2 was somehow limited to a certain number of days by default, however, it appears that it is not. In other words, I see the same number of days with guide data as I did in MP1.
