regularly after resume Mediaportal is minimised and will not respond.

Sometimes if I alt tab it will take focus and then exit and I can restart
Other times I have to kill it with task manager and then I can restart

    Latest logs attached
Any suggestions how to proceed appreciated

The system had been fine for months and months. I think this started happening after one of a number of Windows 10 updates but I can pin a specific timeframe or update on this
    Now on win10 1703 build

    Thanks for the response
Sorry - I thought the logs would include the earlier incident before I restarted with the watchdog to collect them - I will get new logs uploaded tonight

I had not seen the other thread despite searching for similar items (only ones were back in 2015 so did not seem to be the right resolution).
Don't think this applies to me but will keep a watch on the thread
I am still on creators update 1703 (not yet been offered fall creators update)
I stopped using LAV filters after issues with black display months ago and use I think the Microsoft ones - but that thread may explain that
My issue is with the display of MediaPortal at all - not when playing video

It took a couple of days to occur again but it has now - hopefully these logs should contain it
woke up the PC about 8:45 today 2nd Nov and Media Portal will not respond. It is not showing as minimised and the green button will not start it. Clicking on the mediaportal icon does not bring it to focus
In task manager it shows as running - I have left it that way when taking the logs - but I will have to kill the task to get it to start

    Hello again

Those log files do show the the sleep + wake events. I can also see you pressing the remote buttons several times after waking the PC. In fact I'm not able to see anything wrong with MP. Nothing stands out in the log files...

    Thanks for a prompt response

At one level it was fine - just no GUI - and no indication that it was minimised ie the icon on the taskbar did not indicate it was running - but it shows in task manager
Is there a higher level of logging I can turn on that may show more ?

I will try the 'always on top' option see if that has an effect

    Yes.
    You can enable debug-level logging:
    1. Close MediaPortal.
    2. Open MediaPortal Configuration.
    3. Go to the "general" section.
    4. Change "log verbosity" to "debug".
    5. Click OK to close and save.
