Trying to use and old laptop as a music player (jukebox) my first idea was to install MP, but due to the limited functionality of the integrated graphic card it seems that MP is not an option (nothing is rendered).

I would like to use windows XP, remote control, and my music collection is not very large.

Could some one suggest me an alternative SW. Of course if some one knows how to solve the MP issue with the graphic card it will be even better.

GBPVR does not require a new graphics card. In addition, Meedio (now yahoo go tv) will also work. The final version of Meedio does not require an activation key. I'm sure you can find it somewhere on the internet.

If you're not afraid of Linux and will use it as jukebox only, you might want to try GeeXBoX. It's a Live-CD, so just boot from CD and it should work.
