Tools and other software Mediaportal and ESET Smart Security 8 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm using ESET Smart Security and recently updated to version 8. Since this update after the start of MP the very first initialization of the TV takes over 40s. After that the TV is working normal. Channel changes and following TV start are fast again, till I have to restart MP.

I switched back to version 7 and I don't have the very long waiting period anymore.

Has anybody experienced a similar problem with ESET Smart Security 8??

Not with V8 but dumped eset a couple off Years ago because off a similar behavior. Search for it here in the forum...

Have you tried excluding the "Programdata\Team MediaPortal" folder from real-time scanning?

No, but it is probably a firewall problem. Because when I deactivated it everything is working in normal times.

i have Eset Antivirus only, not tried the V8 yet.
i have exclude all MP folder, from scanning, due to TS timeshift bufer.
