Mediaportal and fast forward (1 Viewer)

Hello,

really like the software, just two questions:

1. Fast forward is improved in current version, but after I press play, video starts about 2 minutes from last frame in forwarding. Is it some kind of bug or is it supposed to be that way?

2. While watching movies, my eyes get tired a bit (not happening in XBMC), is that refresh rate thing or?

I mostly watch mkv bluray rips.

I have the same problem mentioned in point 1.
I have 1.2.2

Need more info to answer that question - what files are you playing, which splitters and codecs are you using ? (or just attach the log files.....)

(basically, if the splitter and decoder filters support FFWD properly, then it should work - if they don't then it won't work correctly)

thx for the quick reply.
problem was solved in the meanwhile, have removed the LAV filters, and now it is working with mpc-hc filters and haali.

Yes, LAV splitter doesn't support FFWD properly.
