Hi,

I just bought my very first universal remote, and I'm completely "green" on how to set it up properly!

I've managed to turn on/off all of my components, change channels/inputs and volume, but I can't seem to control my HTPC properly!

The thing I would like to do, is to control my HTPC (Mediaportal) with my remote, so that I can put away the keyboard and mouse once and for all! But I can't find out how!

Please help me!

Hi.
I do not know what your problem is. Generate a new device "Computer>Media Center PC" in "your Logitech Harmony Remote Software" and you get the complete functionality of the original MS-MCE-RC. What you need is perhaps a IR-Receiver (original ore a clone of MS).

I have a IR-reciever built into my HTPC case, and that works...
I thing I need help with is how to configure the remote to work properly with mediaportal...

IE:
Make "GreenButton" to start MP, a button to start MP TV-Series, a button to start Live TV etc....

At first you have configure the Harmony One shown as above (post two)
Then configure the remote in MP as an MCE-Remote.

is built in the Harmony Software (see post two)

Make "GreenButton" to start MP

There are a lot of posts with these content in the Forum.
You have to disable WMC and use the MP-Tray
