Mediaportal and MySQL (1 Viewer)

I want to install Mediaportal using MySQL. However Mediaportal is requesting access to the protected table "mysql". It is requiring the "root" account for the database server. I've never heard of an application wanting this!

How can I install Mediaportal without giving it complete ownership of the database server?

I have created the database, and the user has full control over its own database. It should not need to both any other database, especially not the built-in ones.

i wonder that MP Installer needs root access to DB - it never asked it for me, so only on first start of TV Service there is a window asking credentials for MP database, but not root access and not for mysql table
