I have a problem which makes the Mediaportal menu (and sound in media like a livestream) completely silent.
In Windows I set the default sound device to SPDIF-out, which is neccesary to get DTS/DB Digital.
It works great in all my main movies (divx,720p,1080p) but the mediaportal menu is completely silent, and live streams and some trailers are silent as well (guess all the media which doesn't have a stream with DB Digital or DTS).
When I set "Speakers as default in sounddevice in Windows, I hear the sound again, but DTS/DB Digital is not working, just DB ProLogic II for everything. I think I can fix it on my Logitech Z-5500 to use both Optical and Analog cables, but it requiers me to switch everytime with the remote, which is kinda annoying I think..
I remeber a time I didn't have this problem at all. I wonder how this come.
