Hi,

I just got a new Mac and would like to set up MediaPortal via Parallels on a Windows virtual machine.

I downloaded and installed the software fine however, when i try to view the TV I get the message, unable to connect to the stream, and then shortly after I get the error message, connection to TV hose lost.

All the EPG data has loaded fine I can see the available channels and what is currently airing but I am not sure what to do.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Could be a firewall issue. Also, have you set a static IP for the TVServer? If not, please try that.

Yes, the server has a static IP.

At the moment, I do not have a firewall installed on the Windows VM and the built in firewall on my Mac is turned off according to my settings.

Why are you using MP 1.1.2? Could you please try the latest MediaPortal version (MP 1.2.3).
    Thanks! :)

according to log you have set VMR9 as video renderer. that is not recommended on Windows 7.

moreover, at times when 1.1.2 was released, windows 7 was also unsupported OS:
