I have MP 0.2.2.0 that I'm just using as an interface to play downloaded videos now that I have an ATI Remote Wonder (I have only TV out, no TV in). I have the remote set up so that I hit the A button and it starts TV Tool in TV mode. No complaint there. Then I hit the B button to call up MP, no complaint there. When I tried to use MP's internal player, not matter what audio or video codec I tried, the output would always be very jerky. When I use VLC, the output looks great. Problem is, I can't get VLC to cooperate with MP. I have "%filename% vlc:quit" as the parameter so that when the video is done playing, it automatically shuts VLC down and brings MP back up to focus. Most of the time, VLC is behind MP when a video starts. Some times, I can hit stop and then play and it'll bring it back up front. Other times, when I try that work around, it won't play after hitting stop. So I hit the power button on my ATI remote to close VLC and try again, but the remote software brings up a dialog box asking if I'm sure I want to quit, but the TV doesn't display it, so I have to get up, go in the other room, and close it down from there. I've already verified that MP is not set to always be on top. I have VLC set to be full screen and always on top. If I could just get past this one issue, I'd be happy with the set up. I did try WMP10 as an external player before trying VLC but I didn't like several interactions between WMP and the remote. I don't know if WMP is coming up behind MP or not. I had already moved on to VLC before I started testing everything out with the TV. Any advice? Thanks.
