I just recently installed mediaportal. After going through the installation process the software unable to locate any of my harddrives on my computer. What it can see are my optical drives (CD and DVD drives). Can someone help me please?

Hi there and welcome

Run the MP Configuration program and add the folders you want visible.
Do this for Music, Pictures and Videos.

Example:
MP Confguration
Expand Music
Click on Music Folders
Add the folders where you store your music.
