[solved] MediaPortal Crash sometime since update 1.12 (1 Viewer)

my htpc crash when i watch a tvserie, can be a xvid or mkv. If i restart mediaportal I can watch the file but when I try to watch the next one it crash again and so one.

I attach my log.

It always seems to happen after loading the "Spdifer" audio codec, so I suspect that codec is the problem.
Please try using LAV audio or some other codec here:

Wow that was so fast i'm impressed by the reactivity ...

thank for your answer. I install spdifer codec because I have a external decoder (Logitech Z5500) and the DTS sond is not correctly send to it with lav MPEG/AC3 Audio.

I will try to use LAV setting for a while to see if this is the problem source.

Ahhh, okay. I had heard of AC3Filter before, but not Spdifer. Maybe AC3Filter can do what you need and be more stable. Alternatively, there are also bit streaming options for DTS* and DD* in the LAV audio config:

I already try all the differents LAV codec options for spdif passthru without succes, if the problem is solved by using lav codec I will try ac3filter instead of spdiffer.

Hello again

Working like a charm with LAV but because of my DTS problem I install AC3filter and now I have the DTS sond propelly sent to my amplifier without crash.
