The HDMI cable is plugged into the Intel HDMI port.Realtek is the onboard audio on the motherboard, but I have it disabled.I use the LAV Filters for everything and the &quot;default audio device&quot;, which is Intel, is setup as the audio device.The HTPC is always on, I typically turn on the Projector first (this is because the lamp takes a couple of minutes to actually turn on another minute or so to warm up to full brightness) and the Receiver; however, both remote controls are in my hand and I instinctively press the On button on both and then wait for the projector lamp to heat up - so I can't state with certainty which device turns on first.HOWEVER, at the time I actually use the remote to move or enter a selection, BOTH the Projector &amp; Receiver are fully turned on &amp; operating.Intel's drivers are fully updated - I always keep them updated.I'm not clear why the Audio device isn't available to MP as all the devices are on &amp; operating when I go to press anything on the remote.
