MediaPortal crashes when auto tuning dvb-c (1 Viewer)

Hi, I've finally got round to getting my HTPC setup but MP keeps crashing when I'm autotuning DVB-C.

Im using a Twinhan DVB-C 2031 with BDA drivers

If I set the Symbol Rate to the incorrect frequency, it scans absolutely fine, but obviously no channels.

If I set the Symbol Rate to be the correct frequency, it crashes after the first few frequencies. The most channels it's picked up before crashing is 9 adn they were lost when I restarted MP configuration.

I hope someone can help...I'm so close to getting this complete - I can feel it

This thread is old but I have the same problem like you.
I have a Twinhan DBV-C (Mantis) and MP crashes too when I start autotuning.

Could you fix it?

Hi,

Nope, the problem hasn't been fixed. I've even tried version 0.2.3 RC3, and it suffers from the same problem.

Can anyone help? I don't want to have to use a different piece of software as I really like MP.

I have the same problem. I have worked through the whole wiki and have installed all patches named there.

Every time I try the channel search, the systems crashes. I get more and more crazy about this

Just if anybody has got the same problem as I,
reinstalling MP after patching solves many problems.
