Mediaportal crashes when crossfire enabled (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: 1.0 RC1
MediaPortal Skin: XFace
Windows Version: Vista64
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H
Video Card: AT1 Radeon 2400

1. TV Card: FloppyDTV

I have a ATI Radeon 2400 graphics card as well as the inbuild graphics card on the motherboard. I am using the latest ATI Catalyst software 8.4. If I enable crossfire mediaportal crashes when viewing TV or video.
I have read threads here and on other forums about others that have the same problem.

Does anybody know why Mediaportal crashes and if there is a solution to this?

I can confirm that when using the onboard graphics and a pci-ex card (HD3450 in my case) in crossfire, mediaportal crashes when entering MyTv. This is on Xp sp3 and Vista 32bit, using Rc1 with latest svn (also tried 3 or 4 previous svn's). Occurs with older and newer catalyst drivers. Sorry I can't generate a log. Problem goes away by disabling crossfire.
