I installed the software successfully. However, I do not have a TV card. I do not plan to use the TV functions. However, when the software starts, it seems to get a DirectX message. I cannot read the message, since the logo cover it. I click on the ok button and then software goes thru the opening process (starting plugins etc) and then opens. But I do not see the GUI. Just a shell see thru frame (which shows the wallpere thru it) with the three buttons on the top - file, options and Wizard.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but no good.

What could be wrong?

I have the exactly same problem except the error message. I got no error message or nothning. First of all, I tried new 0.2.3.0 RC1 version and then 0.2.2.0 version. With both of them, i get the same null GUI. Main window menu displays but nothing works except the "Exit" item.

When I click on the null window, where GUI shold have been displayed, i got some some short sound effcets.

I tried both version on my desktop and laptop. Both resulted in the same way.
I read whatever I found on the above link, and searched from other sites. I also installed all codecs mentioned in this site. But I could not solve the problem.

Does anybody have a solution for me, please?

My Desktop:

AMD 2800+ X64
1GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce 6700
DX 9.0c installed Windows XP Sp2 (32 bit)
Technisat SkyStar2

After checking the error.log file located in the MP setup folder, I realized that the problem was caused by the case sensitivity of the some skin media files. When using MP with international Windows versions (mine is Turkish) some case conversions can be non standart. In Turkish "I" converts to "ı" which is not a standart character.

To solve the problem, all files must be named in small letters. I copied three files, which are containing "I" in their names, and rename the copies with "ı".
