[no Bug] MediaPortal doesn't show recorded video (2 Viewers)

Since I upgraded to 1.2.0 RC (from 1.1.3), I can't display any recordings made by Mediaportal on the computer connected to the TV. (The one listed below)
I click on a recording that is made, I see disk activity and than MediaPortal seems to freeze, although the bleeps that sound when you press a button on the remote still work. When I press the "stop" button on the remote (stop video display), MediaPortal responds again. The next time I try to access that recording MediaPortal offers me the ability to start watching again to the point I pressed the stop button. So I think MediaPortal thinks it is outputting the video, but nothing happens. No video, no audio.
I can watch the recordings on an other PC (but that PC is running Win 7)

Saf V5.02 is installed on both my computers.

Is Windows XP compatibility dropped on this version of MediaPortal?

To me it does seem like there is a problem with your video card:

I confirm that you seem to be using the latest drivers already. Perhaps try reinstalling the drivers.

[Edit: ...although I guess TsReader may also be part of it. The basic issue is that the FFDShow codecs are not able to connect to TsReader.]

First I tried to test the Direct3D things in dxdiag: Direct 3D 7 & 8 failed, Direct3D 9 works
Ill try reinstalling the drivers.

I hope the videocard isn't broken... Can't find another one with S-video connection

Edit: Reinstalling videocard drivers didn't help. Problem still exists.
I guess this isn't a videocard problem, because I also don't hear any sound.


Edit 2: I upgraded to SAF V6, and all problems are gone. Seems to be a codec problem, no bug. Thanks for trying to help!
