Mediaportal freezes every time at startup (1 Viewer)

When i start mediaportal it freezes every single time. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall mediaportal but i still get the same error.

The errors in the log seem to suggest an issue with fonts? have you stripped down your xp install and removed fonts at all? or are you using a lightweight version of xp?

also have you got ALL .net updates and windows updates that you need?

Fonts - problem

I havent removed any fonts what i know of... Is there any way of finding out? Is there a font-pack i can install to remove the error?

im not aware of any... but that means nothing

it just looks like the font arial is corrupt or not doing something... and its a windows font.. not a mediaportal font.

what about updates? have you got all the windows updates installed? including .net? <important

do you have any wierd windows themes installed and being used?
