Hi,
I have been a happy user of MP since many years and since I tried to change from 1.1.0 B4 (which was working fantastic btw) to MP 1.1 RC1/RC2 I just experience freeze problems all the time.
Mostly I find MP frozen after not using it for a couple of hours - specially after a scheduled recording. If I am lucky, the recording was completed, but 90% of the times I found MP client frozen and no recording. Just killing the Mediaportel.exe does help to recover, but I also need to kill tvservice.exe even though it looks like its running (normally taking about 60 - 80 Kb of RAM). Restarting TVservice does not help unless I first kill the PID. Then I can start TVservice like normal and watch. Sometimes the Tv do freeze in the middle of watching.
Disabling XMLTV plugin in Mediaportal tv setup removes the error message attached. I did not have time trying MP for a longer period without XMLTV, but I feel it's essential to have it since I need my daily import of XMLTV program schedule.
I tested my RAM successfully.
I installed my single seat from bear metall with a fresh O/S and a fresh install of a one click install. I also tried the x64 W7 with the same error and even more freezes.
I will report back if disabling XMLTV will eliminate my freezes.
Thanks!
