Hi,

Whenever I start a new video from "My videos", MediaPortal gets minimized to system tray and nothing happen. Then I maximize it again and start again the video and it works. I always need to to this little pattern to play my videos. What's wrong with my setup?

Thank you very much.

If you have a look at the Roadmap (Roadmap - MediaPortal Bugtracker) you can see that there is an issue which seems to describe you problems:
0001543: [general] MediaPortal gets minimized to tray by pop up windows of external applications - new.

Yes I saw this before but this is not the same issue.

I don't have any external application pop-up. The event is really when I start playing a video not at random with an external application pop-up.

Unless some codec would start up when I start a video and that would minimize MP?

I have a similar problem, but only when finished playing avi's in a playlist, mp minimises and if I press ok on my mce remote it full screens again and starts the same avi that it just finished.
only does it to avi's and only does it when played in a playlist.
