Mediaportal has encountered a problem ... (1 Viewer)

I was wondering, is this a special problem for us Danes??

I have been trying to pinpoint the problem, by mixing the old dll's from the stable 0.2.0.0 version with the new 0.2.0.4 vesion. But even if I use all the old dll's I still get this problem during mediaportals loading.

If I use all the new dll's but use the old Mediaportal.exe it will start without any error - BUT nothing is shown inside mediaportal (only the my desktop).
I don't know if this can help any of the developers to solve our problem.

I have the same problem (also Dane). It works for me when i disable my remote (Hauppauge).

But then I've got another problem: I miss my remote :wink:

I´m from sweden if that helps... It Doesn´t work for me with 0.0.2.4 patch either. Mediaportal works when i dissable my remote...

Try using another version of the IR driver. I'm using version 2.45 found on the official Hauppauge homepage.

I have just installed the new stable patch (2.0.4), and I still have the problem.

Hi,
Try to install latest SVN from here. Backup your current MediaPortal folder (copy it to another place), install SVN version & test if it is better then. Then we will know if it's a solved issue or not.
